Located within the conservation area, the project comprised of single-story rear extension, reconfiguration of existing ground, first floors and barn at the front. The new spatial arrangement and extensions made efficient use of bringing in natural light while providing uninterrupted vistas towards the rear garden from the new spacious kitchen and living room.
Grade II Listed Cottage

The project consisted double a story rear extension , landscaping alterations and major reconfiguration of existing cottage alongside a new modern staircase.The project being within prominent conservation area meant visually and materialistically it needed to be sympathetic towards the existing character of the area of Rutland.

The project consisted of single-story side and double story rear extensions alongside new timber staircase, landscaping, and minor internal alterations. The existing being a Grade II listed structure meant new extension needed to be sensitive to the surrounding vernacular. Working with the local planning authority and taking into account concerns raised by the surrounding neighbours the scheme was successfully approved.
